The welcome was easy once we called as requested about an hour before arrival. Someone met us at apartment 1 on the ground floor, showed us around and pointed out our parking space. We booked two nights at short notice with CityStay at Marino, and the price was much better value than other Cambridge places we looked at. Do arrange the parking before you travel. The flat was spacious, clean and modern, with everything from a hairdryer and iron to a washer, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. They’d also left breakfast basics and useful kitchen bits, including cereal, bread, milk, tea, coffee, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk into the lovely centre. You can hear some road noise, so it might bother light sleepers. We weren’t bothered and would absolutely stay here again when we’re back in Cambridge.
