Greenacres

A real home from home. There were 12 of us, of all ages, plus a dog, and this was a wonderful place to stay. It made a great base for exploring Cornwall, though we always looked forward to coming back at the end of the day. The highlight of the week was letting our dog run through the owners’ fields and play in the stream at the property. Great hosts and a property I’d thoroughly recommend. It’s wonderfully quiet here, with amazing rural views and no light pollution, so it’s pitch black at night. The place was presented beautifully and had just about everything we could want for a Cornish holiday base. There’s plenty of room, with space to sleep 12. The owners had prepared everything so well, and the welcome basket was great. They even came round to check we were settled, following covid rules. Lovely place, people, and area. We’re already planning to return.

There was an unbelievable amount of room for our family of 12, and the house never felt crammed. It’s a luxury barn with great underfloor heating and lovely owners. The nearest beach is about a 10 minute drive, and there’s lots to do within 20 minutes, including Tintagel Castle, Bodmin moor, bowling, cinemas, the RAF museum, reservoirs, the Coast path, and pubs.

We loved our second stay here and have booked again for 2023. The owners couldn’t be more helpful. We were able to get a Tesco delivery, and there are loads of places to visit around Cornwall.
