Moor View Chapel is in a quiet spot, with plenty of parking across the road and a dedicated dog walking field for guests. The holiday home is very well maintained, with a secure, walled gravel yard and gate at the front. It has an upside down layout, bedrooms and bathroom downstairs, living space and kitchen upstairs.

We loved this chapel. It’s clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and they allow dogs too. Such a great place to stay, highly recommend.

Pete’s cider was great, and we had a wonderful welcome and stay at Moor View Chapel. It’s a lovely conversion finished to a high standard, with an upstairs open plan kitchen and living room. The kids especially liked the reclining sofas. It’s small but worked perfectly for our family of four, with our girls in the bunk beds and us in the second bedroom. We’ve stayed in lots of UK cottages, and this was one of the best. We found it a perfect base for exploring north Cornwall and would come again. The chapel is a short drive from the A39 near camelford, though the roads are very narrow and passing places can be tight, so take care. In Camelford, the peckish fish and chips were excellent, and we’d recommend a takeaway. It was busy each day we drove past. We went to three beaches. Widemouth Beach was our favourite, and we visited three times. Parking is right by the beach, just over £8 for 24 hours, and there were RNLI lifeguards, good waves for bodyboarding, a sandy beach, toilets, and a cafe. Polzeath had a great beach for surfing and paddle boarding, with cafes and shops beside the beach parking, but it gets very busy at peak times, so arrive early. Trebarwith Beach had a decent amount of parking, then a downhill walk to the beach that probably isn’t easy with pushchairs. The sandy beach is on the small side, but there are lots of rocks to climb and explore, and lifeguards.

We had a lovely stay in this beautifully renovated chapel. It’s in a great rural location, and a really lovely place to stay.

The owners have thought of everything to make the place feel homely and comfortable. It’s one of the best places we’ve stayed, and we’d happily recommend it and return. Beaches are a short drive away, with plenty of places to visit.
