Roxy was friendly, helpful and efficient when I arrived. There were plenty of free parking spaces, and I had a very good stay. The room was spacious, though the mattress was softer than I like and the bathroom looked a little worn, even though it was clean and perfectly okay. I ate in the sky lounge in the evening, with great views over the city. I'd stay here again.

Emily gave us a warm welcome when we arrived for our overnight stay. The hotel and our room were clean, and I really have no complaints. I'd stay here again.

The staff are really helpful, and breakfast starts at 6:30, with a classic buffet plus cooked-to-order choices. I also like sitting in the cozy sky bar upstairs, looking out at the open views. It's reasonably priced and has nibbles. The location works well for travel, just five minutes from the town centre, restaurants and several shopping centres. Rooms are standard, with big windows, and comfortable without being anything special. Mine was clean, the mattress wasn't sagging, and the shower and Dove toiletries were good. The air con or heat pump hum can get a little annoying, but it wasn't a major problem.

I'm here on a business trip and have had a really pleasant stay. Ashleigh has been especially good, going out of their way to make dining feel special. My room is spacious and modern, and the service has been excellent. Thanks for the lovely hospitality. If I come back to Cannock, I'd definitely stay here again.

We needed somewhere to stop before Alton Towers on New Year's Eve, after three lovely days in Wolverhampton visiting the races, the black country museum and the wolves stadium tour, which I'd recommend. This turned out to be a great base, with a clean room and a lovely view from the 8th floor. A local pub, the white hart, was only £4 away by taxi and had good food. On arrival, a lovely receptionist checked us in and served drinks too, as there were no bar staff early on. The sky bar on floor 12 was lovely, with a great view, and the food was much better than we expected from holiday inn. Ashleigh was the most polite, amazing barman we've ever met. Nothing was too much trouble, and the way he chatted and interacted with us made us comfortable. His service and communication were great throughout. The one letdown was the sausages on day one. On day two, a lovely lady offered different sausage choices and black pudding, and breakfast was absolutely fantastic. We all enjoyed it, including our four-year-old daughter. We can't wait to come back for more trips in the Midlands. The staff, location and rooms are just what we needed. Happy New Year, and thanks, especially Ashleigh, for the chats. Hope to see you all again. Thank you, Dave Christina Chelsea.
