The one thing in the room I’d update is the TV. It feels very dated and could do with being a smart TV. That’s the only significant improvement I can think of. Otherwise, the room was spacious and well maintained, with a spotless bathroom stocked with lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. The bed was soft and extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly, quick, and flexible. The hotel is right in the city centre, steps from shops, bars, and restaurants.

There’s plenty to see and do in Canterbury, which has become my new favourite city. The hotel is right in the centre, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well looked after.

After our walking tour at the Cathedral, we stopped in for afternoon tea. The server was lovely and really attentive, and the rest of the food was good. But the scone was rock hard, so we couldn’t really eat it.

Our room was very nice and everything was in working order. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great spot. The main issue was the noise from the small side street our room overlooked. It went on well past 2:30am every night except Sunday.

The staff were brilliant, helpful, and funny, and the room was amazing. I’ve never slept in a bigger or more comfortable bed. It’s in a prime location and was very good value. I’d definitely return.
