The house is historic and sits in a beautiful spot, with Canterbury, Sandwich, Broadstairs and Deal all close by. It also made a handy base for going further afield. We had a fantastic two-night stay: a warm welcome, plus scones and tea, which was a lovely bonus. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. We both slept really well, and the breakfasts were amazing, with a great choice. We'll definitely return.

Tracy and Steve were fantastic hosts at Molland Manor. They brought us tea and scones when we arrived, and the breakfast each morning was superb. They also gave us loads of helpful ideas for what to see and do nearby. We had a fabulous stay and hope to come back soon.

Molland Manor is out in the countryside but still close to other facilities, and the location is great. The house and room are in a restored, very historic manor. The owners really care about making you feel good, which you can't take for granted everywhere. The breakfast was amazing: fresh, tasty choices of hot and cold food, drinks, berries, fruit salad, yogurts, English breakfast, salmon, and more. They insisted on charging our car at their own charging station. Even though we arrived late, they asked what time we'd like tea and scones on the house the next day. They waited for us when we were 30 minutes late for check-in at 21:30, proudly showed us the manor's history, and suggested a great place for local farm shopping. I'd totally recommend it for the warm service.

We have stayed in hundreds of B&Bs over the years, and although Molland House is advertised as a luxury B&B, I wouldn't call it luxury. We arrived during check-in time but were left waiting because they didn't hear the bell. We rang three times and called the number on the door, which went straight to voicemail. Eventually we were shown to a nice room, but there was no offer to help with our case. It had no towels or hairdryer, and we had to ask for both. Those things should have been in the room before we arrived, and the room should have been ready. The hospitality tray was good, the milk in the fridge was fresh, and the jacuzzi bath was great. The toilet seat was loose, so we had to be careful with it. There was dirt around the top of the basin and lots of dust between the floorboards and skirting board. Breakfast was lovely apart from the tea. I let it brew for well over five minutes, but it still tasted like dishwater. I've stayed in much cheaper B&Bs with better facilities.

We paid £279 for two people for two nights, and it felt like a lovely deal. There was a cream tea waiting when we arrived, chocolates and little brandy bottles in the room, and two generous breakfasts. Our room was lovely and dog-friendly, and the welcome was warm from the start. We’d first been looking at Airbnbs, but were so glad we found Molland House. It’s also a handy place to stay for trips to Sandwich, Broadstairs, Deal and Canterbury. We were delighted with the whole stay.
