We had a comfortable bed and felt relaxed, and our room at the back looked out onto a wooded area without noise from the busy road out front. For a cheap hotel, it was great value. The bedroom and bedding were clean, though the bathroom was dated and had a few stray hairs. Graham checked us in and was absolutely lovely. A good base for a trip to Whitstable.

It's a basic hotel at a UK service station, and it does the job for good value. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and the bed comfortable. If you want an on-site restaurant or stunning views, this isn't the place for you.
Jimmy the cat was part of the super friendly, helpful team! Most areas were tidy, but my room, 25, could use a refurb. The bathroom vent didn't work and a few parts of the room looked tatty. The location is handy, and having Starbucks and Greg's next door helps, since the Travelodge doesn't serve breakfast.
Jimmy the cat is such a great addition, come by just to give him some love! The Travelodge was great, with clean rooms, a comfy bed and friendly staff. Whitstable is only a short, easy drive away.
I was very pleased with what I got for the price. The room had plenty of space, a comfortable bed, somewhere to work and somewhere to hang clothes. The bathroom had all the facilities I needed. The motel was clean, neat and tidy, and it exceeded my expectations. Two small gripes: the sign isn't clear, so it's hard to spot from the road, and I think the dog charge was a little high. All in all, I was very pleased.
