The owner and staff were polite and welcoming, and I found this a good deal for a comfortable stay. The rooms are outside the city centre, but buses 24, 25, 62 and 63 make it easy to get around, or it's a 25-30 minute walk. There isn't really an attraction nearby. The place has six rooms, three on each of the first and second floors, all with private bathrooms, though you have to use stairs. There's also a well-equipped shared kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and cooking utensils. In my room there was a bed with sheets, quilt and pillows, plus a kitchenette with kettle, mugs, instant coffee, green tea, sugar and milk. It also had a wardrobe, hairdryer, hangers, radiator, fan, bathroom shampoo and tissues, and towels.

The host was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. There are only three rooms, but mine was large, comfortable and very clean. No breakfast is provided, so I brought an Oat so simple porridge to make in the room. There's a kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits and a few chocolates there too. Since the property is also a weight control clinic, I did wonder if the sweeties were a way to get repeat custom 🤣. It's about a 20-minute walk into town, pretty much straight on, and being a little out of town made it very quiet at night. I'd love to know what they wash the sheets in, they smell so good!

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the host was so warm and friendly. It's in a friendly part of the city, close to town, and was a really convenient choice for travelling alone. The value for money is impeccable. I'd definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back.
