Arofan House - Campus Accommodation

The fire alarm seems to go off every other night, usually from 3 to 6am, and can last an hour. Pipes leak constantly, turning the water murky yellow, so they often cut it off for hours during the day. Maintenance doesn't fix things. They ignore requests for weeks, then close the ticket.

A welcoming place for young people, with friendly, helpful staff. The student web portal can be a real challenge when trying to reserve accommodation, though, and management needs to improve the IT.

Really friendly employees, and when something goes wrong they get it sorted fast. The rooms are lovely too ☺️

I paid a £250 deposit when I booked last year, then cancelled a month later. They told me they'd return it, but more than a year has passed and I still haven't got the money. When I went in, they said they'd ask the finance team. It all feels like lies. A month later, they say the refund has been sent, but won't provide a receipt when I ask, and the money still hasn't arrived. Maybe £250 isn't much to some people, but it's a lot for a student. I don't know whether to take them to court. What they've done is shameful.
