Clayton Hotel Cardiff

Breakfast had a lovely range of food, and the staff there were just as welcoming as the team who helped us with self check-in when we arrived. The beds were SO comfy and our room was clean. On the way out we met Paddy the GM, so we got to tell him what a great stay we’d had and that we’d definitely come back. He talked about how quickly Clayton were growing, and hearing an Irish voice on St Patrick's day was a nice touch. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were happy with our two-night stay and would come back. The room was comfortable and clean, and housekeeping emptied the bins and left fresh towels. The only letdown was that the water bottles weren’t replaced on day two. Staff on shift were friendly and helpful, and using the phone for check-in and checkout was easy. We got a good price through the Black Friday sale.

The location made it easy to get around and explore, and the hotel had a warm, inviting feel. It was especially peaceful in our room, so sleeping well was no problem. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with what we needed for a relaxing visit. Staff were welcoming and always ready to help. I really enjoyed the stay at Clayton Hotel and would happily return or recommend it.

We’ve stayed here a few times and plan to come back. The hotel staff are friendly, and the food is yummy. There are lots of nice places to eat nearby, especially Banana Tree and Daffodil, both lovely venues with amazing food. The train station is so close you can see it, but you can’t hear it.
