Inn Cardiff

We booked a few nights at Inn Cardiff after finding it online and checking availability with Steve by phone. We had overseas family visiting who wanted to see some of Wales, and this made a great base. The city is walkable, the beds were comfortable, and there was enough room for three adults. The flat felt cozy, with modern, thoughtful decor, a lovely bathroom, and access to an outside garden. It felt safe and secure, and the kettle, fridge, microwave, and welcome box of snacks were nice touches. We’d absolutely return whenever my a/l allows. DiolchynFawr Steve!

The hosts communicated brilliantly before, during, and after our stay, and even included proper milk for tea and coffee plus specialty tea. The apartment was lovely, clean, and spacious. On-street parking was available, which is hard to find in Cardiff. The only disappointment was that the event we’d booked to see at Bute Park was cancelled because of flooding. We’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the one-bedroom place with a sleep sofa in the lounge. Steve was organised, easy to reach, and very accommodating when I asked to add a night. The area was convenient, parking permits had been arranged, and the place was clean and comfortable. I’d stay again.

The flat is about a 15-minute walk from the castle and town, with a nice modern bathroom that separates the shower and toilet from the sinks. It’s a good place to sleep, though it won’t wow you. All four beds are in the main room with two sofas, so there isn’t privacy if you need it. When we arrived, the toilet door was loose and needed lifting to close because the top hinge needed tightening. One sofa cushion also had a big rip. Neither was a major problem for us, and the landlord thanked us for reporting them and said they’d be fixed. Parking was easy, and the room had a TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, and hairdryer. We’d use it again.
