The Red Lion

From the outside, it looks like a sports bar full of locals, but we didn’t hear any noise overnight. Upstairs was bright and tastefully decorated, and our clean bedroom had a kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, a fridge, and bottles of cold water. The en suite was delightful, with a big shower, fluffy towels, and individual soap, shampoo, and shower gel. There were power points on both sides of the bed for charging phones, plus a hairdryer and a large TV. We slept peacefully and comfortably. For size, this room was comparable to the smallest room at the two top hotels in Cardigan. Breakfast was lovely. I only asked for scrambled egg on toast, and it was cooked perfectly. We stayed one night and would come back without a second thought.
