The host was very helpful, and breakfast was tasty. Our room was furnished to a high standard, making this an excellent bed and breakfast. If we’re in Carlisle again, we’ll happily stay here.

The landlord even gave us a lift out of the rain, going beyond what you’d expect from the role. We felt very welcome and had a real home-from-home stay at Holly Trees. It was immaculately clean, breakfast was wholesome, and we’d definitely come again.
