Dalecote Barn Bed and Breakfast (Bunkroom)

Breakfast was exceptional, and the bathroom underfloor heating was a nice touch. I stayed one night in cabin 5; it was quiet, peaceful, clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. Richard was friendly and helpful, and the location was just right.

After a long day hiking, our ensuite room and private patio were a really comfortable place to unwind. It was spotless, with plenty of tea, coffee and snacks, and the packed lunch for our day out was such a thoughtful extra. Breakfast was generous and delicious too. Richard and Vicky made us feel very welcome. They were great about communicating before we arrived and sent all the details we needed. We had a lovely stay at Dalecote Barn B&B and would be happy to return.

I’ll definitely come back. The views were incredible, and the place was so peaceful. I spent a night here on my motorbike ride back from a tour of Scotland. Richard looked after me really well and was a fantastic host. Breakfast was brilliant, especially the scrambled eggs. There was tea, cereal, fresh milk and a bottle of orange juice in the room too.

The views and quiet surroundings were outstanding. The accommodation was very clean and tidy, and Richard was a friendly, helpful host. I’d happily recommend staying here.
