The quiet setting was just what I wanted, and Lesley and Toto made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent, with locally sourced ingredients. If you're planning to eat at a nearby pub or restaurant during the holiday season, book ahead. Highly recommended.

We loved meeting Toto, Tinker and Mocha, and Lesley was a lovely host. The room was warm and comfortable, with thoughtful extras that made our short break feel just right. Breakfast was hard to put into words, and they catered for our dietary needs. A superb little boutique B&B, highly recommended.

We had a spotless room and a perfect breakfast on our late weekend break. Looking out over the bay, we could watch the tides and light change, and it was beautiful whatever the weather. The takeaway pizza from the Arnside Bakery is worth recommending.

Breakfasts were hearty and set us up for walks along this lovely, quiet, rather overlooked stretch of coast. Lesley was friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge. The BnB is very chic, with exceptional views over the hills and bay. We stayed in room 6 at the top. It’s small but beautifully formed, cosy, warm and welcoming. A pleasant stay.

We didn’t want for a thing during our four amazing days at No 43. Lesley goes above and beyond, and nothing seems too much trouble. The place is spotless, beautifully presented and has amazing views. I can’t fault it, and the breakfasts are the best. Highly recommend.
