We had great views and hosts who were quick to respond and happy to help. It’s an ideal base for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, and during lambing season you’re surrounded by lambs. A perfect stay with friends.

The host was so welcoming and accommodating, and the place was spotless with everything we needed. It’s a cosy spot in peaceful, beautiful meadows, with a relaxing view across the hills. I loved staying there and hope to come back soon.

The garden has football goals, a trampoline and a barbecue, and the terrace has lovely views. We could walk to the Mason arms for a very nice meal, though I’d book ahead, especially for a weekend. The owners were helpful and lovely, and the place worked really well for our family weekend. We’d definitely stay again.

It’s a great base for walks in the countryside, with lovely views all around. There are amenities within walking distance or a short drive away. The open plan living space is roomy and comfortable, and the kitchen is good. A magical place to escape the hustle and bustle, with warm, welcoming owners.
