We were here to celebrate our 70th birthdays and 50th wedding anniversary, and it made for a fantastic holiday. The Roundhouse is fab, with everything we needed and more for a relaxing, amazing stay.

The Roundhouse makes a lovely base for exploring the area, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It’s wonderfully cosy, with a log burner, plenty of hot water and complete privacy. The panoramic windows look out over the bay, with spectacular sunsets, and the starry sky is lovely too thanks to the lack of light pollution. Julie takes care of all the essentials and thoughtful little details, with some unexpected extras as well. Highly recommend this wee gem.

Two nights at the Roundhouse went by far too quickly. Julie welcomed us warmly and had left a sponge cake for our arrival. The accommodation was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable break. We loved the beautiful area and stunning views. There’s also a cycle path less than a mile away, following a lovely off-road route by the estuary and through Newton Stewart. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
