The countryside around Caban Coetic is beautiful and peaceful, and Cenarth Falls is only a short drive away. The property is easy to reach inside Penlan Holiday Park, with parking right outside. It’s private, roomy, and suited our family well, especially the big dining table and all the seating. We also made use of the badminton rackets and golf equipment, and the front porch was a pleasant spot to sit in the evening. The main letdown was cleanliness. The living room rug had visible dirt and hair, and there was hair on the sofa cushions too. That was disappointing after we’d been told it was very clean. The garden was also quite overgrown and could do with better upkeep. Electricity is charged separately, and that wasn’t made clear. We were there for five days and out most of the daytime, yet paid around £25, which seemed expensive. We were also surprised that there weren’t basic supplies such as tea or coffee. The checkout reminder came across as unnecessary and unwelcoming. It’s a nice place with potential, but the cleaning, communication, and general attention to detail need work.

We went during October half term and had a great stay. The site has plenty to keep the kids busy, and the clean, lovely cabins were a pleasure. The bar seemed recently renovated, had darts and pool, and was well priced. There are also lots of good walks and beaches nearby. I’d definitely recommend it!

Craig made me feel welcome from the start and did all he could to make the stay a good one. I’d only planned a couple of days away, but was lucky to find this gem. The pool and bar were a pleasant surprise for what I’d thought would be a basic caravan stay. I saw work underway around the site, so it looks like more additions are coming. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Craig the manager’s pizzas are legendary, and the clubhouse and bar are dog friendly, with reasonably priced food and drinks. We stayed at penlan holiday park with our grandchildren and enjoyed the outdoor pool, free pitch n putt, and playpark. There’s a designated dog walk that’s well maintained, and the grounds and parking are both excellent. Well done, penland park.

Our little cabin was booked through Airbnb, and I think several cabins use this site. It was a restful, quiet place in pleasant woodland, only a mile from Cenarth. The site manager/owner was very friendly. We had no real issues and would come back.
