The coastal walks and sunsets were magnificent when we finally ventured out. We had a fabulous family birthday stay at the Mission just after Christmas. The house is laid out brilliantly, with generous open living areas and a great, fully equipped kitchen. We especially liked the record player, cosy couches and woodburner, and found it hard to leave. Harriet was a great host and always reachable by phone when we had questions. Highly recommended!

We spent New Year at The Mission with a family group and had a fantastic time. The weather was pretty poor, but that gave us extra reason to stay warm, comfortable and relaxed indoors. Recently under new, even more stylish ownership, it's a fascinating, unique building, with a lovely mix of vintage and retro style, modern comfort and quirky fun. There's loads of room, with different spots to chat, cook, eat, play, read, relax or sleep. We used the games, puzzles, books and DVDs, sat by the big woodburner, played the piano and table football, watched a movie and put on a record. A short walk gets you to cliff-top sea views and coastal paths in several directions. Enthusiastically recommended, and I hope we can return.

A brilliant holiday house with room for eight. The vintage decor is spot on, and everything feels comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. There's loads to do, with games, table football and jigsaws, and lovely beaches nearby. We'll be back!

We had such a good weekend here with two other couples and our dog. What an amazing converted church, such a cool, social place. There are two open rooms above the living area and another two double rooms out back. The lounge with its big open fire was fantastic. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a break with up to eight people 😊❤️
