We stayed at The Haymaker for two nights while attending a wedding nearby. It has the welcoming, friendly feel you'd expect from a village pub. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and very good value. The food was well priced, with the generous portions other reviews mention. We'd happily book again if we're in the area, and recommend The Haymaker.

We had a lovely family Christmas meal here. The food was great, especially the delicious bread and butter pudding. It's a really good pub, and dogs are welcome, so we got to see lots of gorgeous dogs too.

We had a family meal here and every dish was delicious. The staff were polite and attentive, and I couldn't fault the experience.

The pub itself was nice, but the service didn't feel welcoming. We stopped in for lunch and were asked if we'd booked. When we said no, the man serving us said we could sit there, but booked guests would be served first and we'd have to order after them. We gave up on lunch, had a quick drink, and left.
