The staff were pleasant, and there was plenty of meat to choose from at the carvery. A cute cat came in to say hello too. 10/10, I’ll bring treats next time.

We were a group of six and they managed to fit us in despite being short staffed because of isolation. The landlord was very accommodating and the food was delicious. What a lovely find! I’d happily make the trip back, and next time I’ll book ahead. Thanks again x

There were about five choices of meat, and the pork I had was amazing. The vegetables had a huge selection too. I went for a carvery with my family today, and honestly it was the best one I’ve ever had. The only downside was how hot the restaurant felt. It was raining, so I can understand the humidity. I’ll definitely be back soon.

We went to the gamekeeper for Mother’s Day, and the Sunday roast was brilliant value for money. You could choose from five meats, have up to three on your plate, and take as much veg and other sides as you wanted. The staff were very friendly, and the meal was really good overall. They did forget our desserts, though, and we had to chase them up. Two were ice cream, so they’d started to melt by the time they arrived. Still, it’s well worth going and good value.

The food was presented really well, and the staff checked that everything was okay. I felt very welcome, and when I mentioned my nut allergy they were accommodating. Really enjoyable, definitely recommend.
