Dom made sure breakfast was freshly cooked and even found croissants for me when I was looking around for them. He also sorted sausages for my vegetarian friend. Jasmine was just as lovely in the restaurant, keeping an eye on everyone, clearing tables and helping us find what we needed. Reception kindly gave us champagne glasses for our sparkling wine, too. We stay at Premier Inns a lot, and this team has to be the nicest we've come across. Chelmsford can feel pretty grumpy and full of entitled suits, from when I lived locally, so the staff really made the stay for us.

Ann at reception was friendly and handled several requests with no trouble, which really made the stay. The hotel is in a great spot, and the bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. The room was clean apart from a bit of dust. We did hear people in the corridor and doors closing, though not traffic, so the soundproofing could be better. It wasn't a major issue.

For a work trip with a colleague, this was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Jasmine and Dom at breakfast, and there was plenty of parking. Our room was comfortable and quiet. I'd stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a super bed, and the staff made the hotel feel like home during a very difficult three weeks. We were there while our daughter’s inquest was taking place nearby in Chelmsford. Before we arrived, the team arranged a quiet room and treated us with real empathy. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and they checked in whenever they saw us coming or going. When we returned for the conclusion of the inquest, they welcomed us like old friends. Wine and biscuits waiting in the same room was such a thoughtful touch.

The room was standard and had the usual amenities. We found the location great for what we needed, and the hotel was easy to find. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was helpful and worked hard to fix a problem we had caused ourselves. She never complained.
