The homemade sourdough at breakfast was delicious, and we felt very looked after. Mark and Ruth made us feel welcome from the start. The room was really comfortable, and the Brick House is in a gorgeous spot that worked perfectly for our cycling trip on the South Downs Way.

Mark was kind and helpful, and shared tips for making sourdough. He also runs sourdough courses. We stayed at this lovely B&B in a beautiful village, and The Flower Pots Inn was superb. Ask Mark to book and you get preferential treatment in the food queue. Many thanks, Mark.

Mark was incredibly helpful when we realised we'd left a jacket behind. We were there overnight for a party about 10 minutes away, and he had left detailed instructions for getting in and finding everything. The room was lovely, clean, airy and very quiet. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. A very special place, highly recommended.

A beautiful location, great pubs nearby, and an excellent breakfast made this a great stopover on our cycling trip. Mark and Ruth were very friendly and accommodating, and we had a comfortable bed. What more could you ask for...

We were driving, but this place would suit cyclists and hikers too. It's a super place to stay in the heart of beautiful countryside. Mark and Ruth open their home to strangers, and their friendly attention can't be faulted. The rooms, garden and village are all an absolute delight.
