The Saddle Inn

They had live music that afternoon and quickly asked if we'd like to stay for the singer. The playlist was good, and there was a juke box option too. The food looked good, and we had a good time. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Sunday roast selection and the Mega Stag burger are worth trying, the kind of experience you won't forget for a while. Everything we ate was tasty, homemade, and a great price. Breakfast was also good value for something so tasty, and the food overall was excellent. You can come here to stay or just have a drink. It's a nice place even if rock isn't your thing, with friendly, helpful staff. The accommodation is a bit unusual, but clean, comfy, and cosy.

The drinks were very reasonably priced, and after checking in at The Saddle Inn, Chester, on Friday night, we headed back down for a drink and food. We liked the food so much that we came back for it two days in a row. It was beautifully cooked, carefully presented, and tasted amazing. We stayed in the “Slayer” room, which was spotless and full of character. It had drums for bedside tables and a guitar on the wall. The rock bar has a brilliant atmosphere, relaxed and unpretentious, with friendly faces and its own charm. Meeting the lovely owner showed how much passion goes into the place. We also got to meet her two gorgeous French bulldogs, a bonus since we have one at home too. It's an amazing rock bar with unique rooms and great food. When we're next in Chester, we'll 100% stay at The Saddle Inn again.

We stopped in for a couple of drinks. The prices were very reasonable and the service was friendly. I'm not much of a heavy rock fan, but the music wasn't deafening when we visited, so I quite enjoyed it.
