The Vestry

The cooked-to-order breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the welcome was really warm. Our room was clean, spacious and had a comfy bed, lovely quality towels, and plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and more. Staff helped us with our luggage up the one flight of stairs, as there is no lift. I’d give it five stars, but the curtains weren't lined, so light coming in made it hard to sleep. There was also a door from the pub without a "swipe" entry, which meant anyone could walk upstairs from the pub. The internet didn't work, although I did manage to connect to the pub wifi. I was sorry there was no evening meal option. It's a modern hotel above the "room 21" pub.

Dancing until two o'clock in the morning made for such a fun night out. The bar staff were excellent and the door staff respectful. Can't recommend it enough.

We had booked a night, but unfortunately our plans changed. Since it was the Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend, they asked for a 50% deposit, which was no problem. I just want to praise the customer service I got from start to finish with my refund. The person who called to arrange it was polite and understanding, a credit to your company. We'll definitely book another time.

Right in the heart of Chichester, with a perfect location and friendly staff. Excellent hotel. If noise bothers you, it's best to check whether there's live music that night.
