Mynd House B&B

The breakfast was fabulous, and the rooms were impeccable. The attention to detail was faultless. This is easily the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in, and we’re really looking forward to coming back. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

For exploring, it’s a great spot, with an easy stroll into Church Stretton for more pubs, cafés, Jaipur, and the train station. Liz and Jeff are lovely hosts, and the village itself has two very good pubs with proper well kept beer and good food. Our room was warm, comfortable and cosy, with plenty of hot water and a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent, and we liked the honesty bar and the comfortable lounge with its stove. Totally recommend this lovely B&B in Shropshire. Jim & Betty Stretton

Liz made sure I had cereal, yogurt, juice and a banana in my room on my last morning because I had to leave before breakfast. I was in the single Burway Room and was very comfortable. The B&B was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly. Communication was excellent, and Liz gave me a warm, friendly welcome when I arrived for a wedding weekend. Breakfast was great too. I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was really nice, with quality ingredients sourced locally. Liz and Jeff were welcoming, and I had a good chat with Jeff about how they first got the B&B started. The downstairs rooms are comfortable and well designed, with a real wood burner in the middle that gives off a lovely smell. We stayed in the Hazler suite and liked the seating area and the thoughtful decor. The room handbook had lovely little details too. The floorboards in the seating area creaked, though it wasn’t too bad, and the mattress wasn’t as comfortable as we’d have liked. It squeaked a lot as well. We’d certainly come back. Thankyou.
