Crucis Park Estate

Starose Barn was a great place for our family weekend, with three couples and five children. The bedrooms were spacious, all ensuite, and had lovely views. The place felt almost brand new, spotless, and finished with quality fittings, furniture and linen. We could step straight out into an open field, which was lovely. Even in a cold January, the insulation kept it warm enough that we didn’t need the log fire. We’ve stayed in lots of holiday homes through luxury rental sites and Airbnb, and this is among the best. The staff were helpful and easy to communicate with.

The Estate Managers were excellent during booking and in the lead-up to our son’s August wedding. We rented three barns for three nights, and they worked perfectly for us. Starose Barn was the icing on the cake, giving the whole family an elegant, spacious place to come together and celebrate. The decor was lovely, the beds comfortable, and the barns were extremely well equipped. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The house at Crucis Park Estate was lovely for our local wedding stay, with lots of natural light, plenty of parking and fantastic views. We slept so well in the very comfortable beds, and the blackout curtains worked great. There was lots of space in the bedrooms, and the bathrooms felt high quality, with lovely soaps and shower gels. A few extra glasses and sets of cutlery would have helped, as would bar stools at the kitchen island. We couldn’t figure out how to switch the heating off, and the house became very warm, so a how-to guide would be useful. A beautiful property in a great location.
