We stopped for lunch while driving through the countryside and enjoyed the food. I had the scotch egg with tasty picked vegetables and a gorgeous tomato salad with lots of little extras. There’s lovely outdoor seating by the water, with a choice of sun or shade. Lidia served us, and all the servers were very good.

We had a wonderful afternoon in the sunshine with cocktails, food and tea. Thanks to all the staff, both those behind the scenes and the people who helped on the day. We booked a private event room, and the staff were excellent, very helpful before the booking and even more so on the day. They made sure everything was catered for and kept things happy and relaxed. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Wild Thyme & Honey is beautifully set in the peaceful Cotswold countryside, with plenty of character and charm. The hotel balances boutique elegance with a relaxed, cosy feel. Our stylish, comfortable room was spotless and had thoughtful touches that made the stay feel luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The food was full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly made with quality ingredients. Every meal was a treat. I’d highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return.

My husband and I loved our weekend at this gorgeous hotel. Harvey stood out from the start, he was knowledgeable, helpful and so friendly. We enjoyed wine by the outdoor fire, then a delicious breakfast the next morning. After a bike ride around the beautiful village, we had an AMAZING lunch at the restaurant. A wonderful stay from beginning to end, and I’d highly recommend it.

We had such a magic stay. The room decor was stunning and the attention to detail incredible. Our names were already on the TV and on the printout, and the lady at the front desk was super attentive and walked us through the room. There were amenities everywhere that made it feel so luxe and special: inscribed robes, lovely-smelling pillow spray and products, bath salts and even a book for the bath. We also loved the coffee machine, our choice of teas and the lush sloe gin. Music was already playing when we walked in, which made everything feel warm and welcoming. It seemed like every little thing had been thought of, and the room was fantastically clean. We spent a good while by the fire in the cosy lobby. The pumpkin bruschetta we had as a snack was mind-blowingly tasty.
