Native Bank

The apartment has a spacious living room, plus a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and TVs in both the bedroom and living room. Weekly cleaning is included. It's well located for walking to notable sights and several train lines. There were a few downsides for my July stay. There's no AC, and the double-paned windows don't open, so it got very stuffy with just one fan. You don't know exactly which day the weekly cleaning will happen. Unlike the other Native location, there's no attendant on site. There are lots of stairs and no elevator, which is tough with large bags. There's also a bar downstairs in the outside common area.

Native's website would be more helpful if it listed both room and bed sizes. For the Native Bank Studio Room, the location was handy, near subway stations and lots of cafes and restaurants. The room was about 30 sqm, reasonably clean, with good Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer and iron. There were several drawbacks. The entrance area in front of the building was very dirty, and there's no elevator, just lots of stairs, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have big suitcases. We got only one key, which wasn't practical for two guests. There was no coffee machine, and the bed was small, around 140-150 cm wide. The shower and toilet share one space rather than having a separate toilet. Also, many nearby cafes and restaurants close during the Christmas season.

The apartment was great, and the staff were extremely helpful and quick to respond, even on New Year's Day. I'll come again!

The foyer staircase had a real Scroogey feel. I could picture him carrying his candlestick upstairs to bed on Christmas Eve. The location was great for Christmastime too. We stayed at the Bank location in December 2025. The unit was clean and modern, in a lovely period building, and it looked just like the photos online. Highly recommend.
