The Derby London City, Curio Collection By Hilton

We had a wonderful family stay and can’t wait to come back. The team at The Derby London City made it memorable, especially with how kind and welcoming they were to the children. Our room was immaculate, with lovely touches like robes, slippers and a refillable water bottle. The view of The Shard was gorgeous, especially at night, and breakfast had so many delicious options. It’s a great base for sightseeing. Monument station is a short walk away, and The Shard, Tower of London, Sky Garden, Monument, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral are all within walking distance.

Anna and Alby were so welcoming and helpful, and their service made the stay even better. The restaurant was excellent too, with beautifully prepared, flavourful food that I enjoyed at every meal. My room at The Derby London was spotless and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, the amenities exceeded my expectations, and the view across London was amazing. I had an incredible visit and would gladly stay here again on my next trip to London. Definitely recommend it.

The restaurant and bar were a highlight. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, especially having breakfast with a view of the historic stone arches and greenery among the church ruins just behind the building. It made the experience feel special and unusual. The Derby London City also has a great location, with Tower Bridge and other major sights within easy walking distance, plus cafes and transport links nearby. Even in this busy area, our room stayed quiet at night. The room was stylish and thoughtfully laid out, with a very comfortable bed, warm lighting and lots of storage. The modern bathroom was spotless and had good water pressure. It’s a cosy, well-located London base that doesn’t skimp on style or comfort.

Breakfast was excellent, with green smoothies, eggs, crispy bacon, pastries, fruit and loads more. And the location is hard to beat. Walk across London Bridge, pause to look at iconic Tower Bridge, then head toward Borough Market or one of the hundreds of pubs and restaurants. This was a FABULOUS hotel, with a beautiful building and great service. The hot bath with views of the Shard was something else! Our bed was super comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We loved being able to play YouTube videos on the BIG screen TV. The coffee machine was elite, and there was fancy milk in the fridge. There’s a lovely bar downstairs for a pint, plus a second cosy cocktail bar in front of a charming stained glass window.
