The caravan itself was clean and good, and Monday was a good first day. Then a wagon arrived on Tuesday and dropped off a digger right opposite us. On Wednesday they began demolishing the old toilet block about 50 metres from the caravan. With the site almost empty, why put us beside the demolition area? It felt like a building site. Heavy rain flooded parts of the park roads, and one of the maintenance staff drove through quickly and soaked us. We won't use Park Holidays again. Three stars was generous.

I still miss the setting, the natural beauty, the customer service and the general feel of the area. The beautiful sunset and the sea's electrifying currents, with the water around the caravans about 100 metres away, made it a sight worth visiting.

We enjoyed our stay, though the club house time was limited to just two hours. I understand there are restrictions, but we were there all week and couldn't enjoy Halloween on the one day we wanted to.

A great site right beside a lovely sheltered beach.

The kids' club kept the children busy, and the club reps were amazing. We enjoyed bingo, children's song bingo and the evening entertainment. We could use all three swimming pools as well as the beach, though sessions at Martello have to be booked.
