The house at Pendle View Lake Hotel in the Lake District felt like home, with three comfortable bedrooms and everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our group of four adults and a child, and the price was great value for a family stay. We booked through Airbnb and had use of a private boat provided by the owner, which made the trip even more special. The lake was clean and clear, and the scenery was breathtaking. One full day was rainy and windy because of a weather warning, but we still had plenty to do indoors, with games, books, Wi-Fi, YouTube, and a TV. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway.

16 Lakeside View is a beautiful lodge inside. I’ve stayed there twice for a month each time, and it’s very peaceful.

We were very comfortable here, with two double bedrooms, each with an en suite, plus a lounge and kitchen. The place is clean, scenic, and peaceful, and the hot tub is amazing. We look forward to coming back.

A great spot for a quiet break. Blackpool is 30 to 40 minutes away, and Windermere about an hour and a half. Our host Fiona was fabulous. There’s fast food and a furniture store nearby too.
