We felt at home in this beautiful, elegant and comfortable house from the moment we arrived. Pete is a mine of information about where to go locally, and our hosts gave us a lovely welcome. I loved sitting in the bay window to take in the breathtaking views. There was plenty of room for two, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was fabulous and freshly cooked. We’re definitely looking forward to returning.

There’s a bus stop right outside Link House, walking trails on the doorstep, and Bassenthwaite Lake Station and the Pheasant Inn are only a five-minute walk away. The owners are both truly lovely, kind and genuine, and make you feel at home. I definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay. Pete and Katie were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Our room was beautiful, with gorgeous views over mountains and fields. Breakfast was lovely, and the location was great, so close to Keswick. We’ll definitely be back!

Peter and Katie were friendly, helpful hosts. I had early starts on both days, and they kindly arranged an extra-early breakfast of cereal and toast. The cooked breakfast menu looked great too. I’m looking forward to staying again.

Our breakfasts were lovely, especially the fresh fruit salad, and Pete and Katie made us feel very welcome. Room 2 was comfortable and had lovely views. It’s been a long time since I stayed at an independent B&B, and this one didn’t disappoint. Link House is well placed for getting to Keswick and exploring lots of places in the Lakes by public transport, which I recommend. Thanks for a lovely break.
