The rooms are finished with such care, and the breakfast is as good as any I've had. Ian and Chris are two of the nicest people you'll meet. Their home feels sumptuous and quietly decadent, the sort of place you'd wish you could live in every day. Plenty of places call themselves 'Five Star' or 'Gold Standard', but few leave you feeling that level of quality. Thanks to them both for a lovely weekend.

We wished we could have stayed longer. The homemade breakfast was fantastic, and our hosts were kind and accommodating. Ellingham House has clean, welcoming rooms with lovely decor. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area!

Chris and Ian were the best hosts. Our room was immaculate and wonderfully spacious, and I loved the four-poster bed. Breakfast was delicious, with a varied menu. Couldn't fault anything.

The owners were friendly, helpful and excellent hosts, and breakfast was very good. It's a quiet area with the town centre still within reach, and there's car parking on site. The old house is lovely, furnished in keeping with its style. Book directly for the best deal.

The room was immaculate and breakfast just right. It's a five-star B&B run by expert hosts, and we'll be very happy to return.
