We spent four nights at The Alexandra Hotel over Easter and would gladly return. It’s well run, the décor is lovely, and the gardens are delightful and well kept. Breakfast was freshly made with a great choice, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very quiet. There are several restaurants nearby. Astbury Meare and Country Park, with its peaceful, picturesque setting, café and toilet, is a ten minute walk away. Little Moreton Hall, a National Trust property, is a short drive away. We’d have no hesitation recommending this lovely hotel and venue for a perfect stay.

We had a very pleasant night here. The hotel was spotless, the room comfortable, and parking on site was handy. Breakfast was delicious, perfectly prepared, and the coffee was just right. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant about five minutes away by car.

My husband and I ate here last night. The staff were friendly and efficient, and made us feel welcome. The place is bright, clean and lovely. Every dish was cooked perfectly, full of flavour and nicely presented. A definite 10/10. We’ll be back.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked poached eggs, and there’s plenty of off street parking. This is a lovely independent boutique hotel in Congleton, with excellent front of house service. My room was warm, nicely appointed, and had a comfy bed. The ensuite was okay, though the sink has separate taps and the hot water comes out scalding, so be careful. The shower pressure is great, but the tray is wide and shallow, and the shower bar and riser get in the way in the cubicle. That may just be a quirk of my room. Gluten free cereal and muesli choices are very limited. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

We went for afternoon tea today and had a lovely, relaxed time. Katie and Marcio greeted us warmly, and it was cosy and comfortable. Andy, who worked at Claridges, made superb food. Our last sitting was at 3 pm, and it was quiet and beautiful. Thanks to the team. I’d fully recommend it.
