Glan Heulog Guest House

Jenny gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived, and the room upgrade was a lovely surprise. My partner and I stayed over Halloween weekend, and the location was just right. The food was delicious, freshly made, and prepared as we’d asked. Probably the best B&B I’ve stayed in so far. Thank you, Jenny Xx

Jenny was a fantastic host, and we couldn’t fault our four-night stay at Glan Heulog in Conwy. The room was comfortable, the view was great, and breakfast was fantastic. Even the other guests we met were chatty and friendly. Glan Heulog B&B is well placed for the castle, town, pubs, shops, restaurants, and the sea for boat trips. They’re all within walking distance, depending on your mobility.

Breakfast was superb, and Jenny was attentive, checking whether we wanted extra helpings. Jenny & John welcomed us warmly and upgraded us to a suite because we’d booked through their website, which they prefer, instead of booking.com. The room was very clean and beautifully furnished, with lovely views across to Conway. It’s also handy for Conway, just a short walk through the large central car park. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The owners were welcoming and accommodating, and they’ll even do laundry for a modest fee. The place was clean and tastefully decorated, with what may be the best breakfast we’ve had at a B&B and a great selection. One person in our group is 6’3”, and the bed was too short. The footboard made that more of a problem and the sleep somewhat uncomfortable. Also, the walk up is quite steep and hazardous when wet, so prospective guests should know that. Those things aren’t the owners’ responsibility, but they’re useful to be aware of. With those small caveats, I’d highly recommend staying here.
