The location is hard to beat, and we'd gladly return. It has the feel of being welcomed into someone's home, with guests treated as though they matter. The rooms are comfortable and lovely without being fancy, and breakfast was fabulous.

We used The Castlebank Hotel as a base for Conwy, Llandudno, and nearby towns, with places within walking distance if you're reasonably fit. The owners were warm and helpful, breakfast was fantastic each day, and the cosy rooms had a bed that felt like a cloud. It was hard to leave somewhere that had started to feel like home when I headed back to Germany. I spent a lovely week there, which was also the week I got engaged to the love of my life. I couldn't speak more highly of the hotel, the town, or the people.

The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was great. They gave us useful advice about places to visit, and the hotel made an ideal starting point for exploring Cowny and Anglesey. Thanks for having us :)

The fresh fruit at breakfast was a real bonus, and the meal was great. We enjoyed our stay a lot, among the best of our two weeks in Wales. For anyone arriving by car, there's free parking in front of the hotel in a space off the street. From there it's a five minute walk into the old town, which was much simpler than dealing with driving and parking inside it.
