Student Only Abbey House

The corner studio is roomy and quiet, with a view I’m happy with, and the Wi-Fi is fast. It’s a nice part of the city with attractive buildings nearby, and Coventry station is very close if you commute often. Every staff member I’ve met has been welcoming, especially Louise, the building manager. She’s hardworking, committed to the students, and follows up when something needs sorting. I’ve lived in four university accommodations, including one very near Abbey House, and this has been the best fit for me. I feel supported and safe, and the place balances privacy, convenience, noise levels and practical facilities well. Staff are responsive, so I haven’t had to keep chasing them about important issues. I’d recommend it to students who want a kind, safe atmosphere, and to postgrads who need a decent night’s sleep.

I felt safe throughout my third year at Abbey House, which hasn’t always been my experience in other student accommodation. My room was really clean when I arrived, and the shared kitchen was cleaned each week too. The room itself was lovely. Louise is a caring, helpful building manager and such a sweet person. She clearly cares about her work and does a spectacular job. I picked this place because the reviews were so good, and it exceeded what I expected. I’d definitely recommend it to students.

The studio was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a good study area, smart TV and a comfy bed. I liked the divider of shelves and a bench between the kitchen and sleeping area, and it was quiet. The shared laundry, gym and social space were all in good condition and well looked after. Abbey House is a good sized student residence, neither too large nor too small. Coventry University, the city centre and Aldi are all under a 10-minute walk away, with the train station only a block or two from the building. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. I’m happy to recommend it.

Louise takes fire safety and evacuation seriously, which helps keep students safe. She’s generous, responsible and always willing to go out of her way to help when we need it. Communication with her has been easy and effective, and she makes sure students feel comfortable and at home. I stayed here for more than two years. It’s a great place for getting around by public transport, and the staff are kind. Louise is committed to putting students first. This has been the best accommodation experience I’ve had.
