Trinity View

I spent a year in a shared flat and found it worth the price compared with a lot of the other dorms around Coventry/Warwick University. It was close to the train station and city centre, and the friendly staff were always helpful. There was everything you’d need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. I also spent plenty of time with friends in the shared kitchen, watching films in the cinema room and playing table football in the common area.

Living with a chronic disability makes staying away from home difficult, but the Trinity View team treated me with kindness and understanding. I felt safe, and nobody judged me. They offered support and answered my questions politely, which made this time much easier and even enjoyable. I’d recommend Trinity View to fellow students. :)

When my family came to Coventry to help my son move into Trinity View, we paid his full-year accommodation fee at the front desk with our UK bank cards. We didn’t use those cards anywhere else afterward. Then, a short while later, my son and I both found recurring £18/month charges from MyTimeRewards, a subscription neither of us had signed up for, visited, or even heard of. I contacted MyTimeRewards, but they wouldn’t say how they got our card details, and their vague replies only made this more worrying. The charges appeared soon after we paid at check-in, which has left us frustrated, angry and concerned. No family should have to deal with this while moving their child into student accommodation. Students and parents, keep an eye out for unfamiliar recurring payments. If MyTimeRewards shows up, you’ll understand how upsetting this is. I hope Trinity View takes card security seriously and makes sure this doesn’t happen to another family. It’s been a very disappointing and stressful experience.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this has been so disappointing. I’m writing for my Girlfriend, who still lives here. The rooms look pleasant, but they don’t work as presented. From the time she moved in, there was no hot water for a week, and the toaster, TV, fridge drawers, washing machine and microwave were broken. The microwave even had live sparks. The walls are so thin you can hear absolutely everything, even whispers. Management won’t listen or help, and threatens people with fines over unreasonable tasks they’re told to complete within 24 hours. One example was a sudden demand, late in the Christmas holiday, to clean the kitchen within 24 hours or be fined, when nobody was there. The hot water was fixed a week after they said it would be. The images show emails about that and the kitchen demand. I also think half the reviews are bots when you look at them. This isn’t fair.
