The room's bedding was stained with what looked like blood or faeces, and the building corridors regularly reeked of marijuana. People I found suspicious hung around outside the entrance late into the evening, leaving me uncomfortable and unsafe. I even wondered whether illegal activity was happening at the property. This was one of the worst places I've stayed. I booked at short notice for a work trip. The parking details in the listing were completely wrong: neither the main nor the alternative parking was available, so I left my car on a nearby industrial estate and walked back for several minutes late at night. Before giving me access, the host demanded a “holding deposit” for potential damage in exchange for the check-in details, which felt unprofessional and set off alarm bells. The room looked tidy from a distance, but the floor hadn't been properly cleaned or vacuumed. When I politely raised that, the host dismissed my concern, effectively treating me like I was lying as a paying guest. I also spotted dents and holes in the bathroom wall that were clearly there already. I didn't document them right then because I was focused on leaving early the next morning. After I checked out, the host sent aggressive, accusatory WhatsApp messages claiming I had damaged the wall and even blaming me for the stained bedding that was already there on arrival. It seemed to me that the so-called “holding deposit” was a way to try to take money from guests after their stay. The whole experience felt dishonest, intimidating, and deeply unpleasant. In my opinion, TripAdvisor and any booking platforms associated with this property should urgently investigate the place and the host's conduct. I'd strongly advise booking somewhere else.

The staff were really helpful at check-in and always happy to assist. The apartments are lovely, modern, and clean, and it's just a quick walk into the centre. Great value for money.

It was quiet and cosy, with a lovely room that felt like good value for the price. I booked through Airb&b and found everything I needed. I'd recommend it for a quick overnight, a few days for work, or whatever suits.

The apartment was modern and nicely decorated, and the location worked well for us, about a 15-minute walk into the city and handy for shops and the bus station. I’d stay again. 😁 The cleaning let it down, though. There was dirt and leaves on the bedroom floor, as if it hadn’t been vacuumed, and hairs on the bedding. The cleaners need to do a bit better.
