The staff were flexible and looked after us well, even serving breakfast early the next day. We also had a delicious meal in the bar. On our walking holiday on IofW, it was a perfect place for a short stay. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a room that had everything we needed. It’s in a lovely position facing the sea, with lots of outdoor space that must be great in summer. I’d happily come again.

We had a relaxing couple of nights at the Woodvale, which was reasonably priced. Martin cooked an amazing breakfast, and all the staff were friendly and gave great service. Parking was easy, and the 35-minute walk into Cowes is pleasant. Definitely recommend!

The katsu burger and my husband’s lamb shank curry were both tasty, and the chef did a wonderful job. We popped in for lunch today and had fantastic service from attentive, friendly and polite staff. Dogs are welcome, and there’s a great view out to sea. Would recommend.

When the weather’s good, you get the best sunsets on the island. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and space, great food, good rooms, a wonderful local pub and a great location.

The food was spot on when we came for breakfast with a wine club. The atmosphere was really vibing and we had an enjoyable visit. I think the manager, Dave, couldn’t do enough to help, and the staff were really attentive. Well done to everyone working there, a credit to the industry.
