Crewe Rooms Ruskin Road

This was nothing like the hotel advertised. It’s a multiple-occupancy house, and the property was in a deplorable state. The room smelled unbearable, as if an animal had died and rotted there. The sink was cracked and leaking across the bathroom floor when I arrived. The so-called emergency number only operated until 5 pm. I sent a message to their WhatsApp group as instructed, but didn’t get a reply until the next day. I was so disgusted that I couldn’t sit on the bed or touch anything in the room, so I packed up and left. I contacted Hotels to ask them to cancel my booking because it wasn’t what their website advertised. The property refused to refund me, even though they clearly knew I hadn’t stayed for even an hour. The room wasn’t suitable for animals, let alone guests. It’s shameful that Hotels advertises places like this.
