The staff were very kind, waited for us late in the evening and suggested lots of interesting places to visit. The room was spacious with a garden view, a really comfortable bed and a new, clean bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with Scottish, vegetarian or classical options. A beautiful place to stay for visiting inverness, lock Ness and the northern Highlands. I truly recommend it!

Shirley and Alisdale are the best! When my wife and I visit the Highlands and islands, we always book two nights at the Sydney House in Cromarty so we can spend a day touring the Black Isle.

Everything was spotless, and the host had left delicious homemade jam along with local bread and biscuits from the bakery. Lovely, cosy accommodation. Highly recommend!
