Northrepps Cottage Country Hotel

We had a lovely afternoon tea for my friend's birthday, with good food and very friendly staff. The room was a pleasant place to celebrate. There were about 16 of us at an L-shaped table, though, and the drinks were awkwardly arranged, with tea at one end and coffee at the other. It would've been easier to have both at each end. The salmon sandwiches were all eaten at one end, so plates kept being passed around. Mixed sandwich platters would have worked better.

My daughter held her wedding reception here, and people commented on how helpful the staff were and how high the service standard was. The team were friendly and accommodating throughout. The hotel is somewhat remote, but the setting is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the food is of a very high standard. I'd recommend staying here.

We had a brilliant family weekend in this cottage. The games room gave us a great spot to get together and laugh, and the spacious, lovely garden was ideal for cricket and football. The rooms were comfortable and well cared for, and the cottage had everything we needed. We loved it and will definitely come back.

The location was peaceful and had plenty of parking. Our large room had Freesat TV, was clean, and the bathroom had everything we needed. Dinner in the restaurant was good, and table service was acceptable. We were the only dinner guests during our midwinter Monday visit. Breakfast offered hot and cold choices, and the chef was willing to consider extra requests if the ingredients were available, even when they weren't on the menu.
