The location worked really well for us, right on the seafront and far enough from town to be peaceful, though still an easy walk. Parking was convenient, with street spaces nearby if available and public car parks close by. The room was lovely, clean and nicely presented, and the bed was comfortable with spare bedding if needed. The shower worked well and there were plenty of towels. The only thing we could fault was a draught at the windows. There was a gale coming off the sea and it was freezing outside, so the windows had a hard time keeping it out. The room itself wasn't cold or hot. The man who welcomed us and checked us in was friendly and helpful. We'd happily come back.

The staff were welcoming and well organized when my son and I stayed at Sandcliffe for the fireworks, but the room had several problems. It was very cold, and turning up the heating didn't warm it properly. The bathroom was chilly too. We could hear loud voices and TVs from nearby rooms, which made my son uncomfortable. The floorboards creaked, the room didn't seem very clean, and the towels looked old and worn. There was no bedside table in the single bedroom, so my son wound up sharing my bed because he didn't feel safe sleeping on his own. Breakfast was odd: the Full English came with rice, which seemed out of place, and I'd have preferred another egg. Parking was scarce, so we had to leave the car on the road. With the price in mind, we were a bit disappointed. The hotel felt welcoming, but those practical issues affected our stay.
The staff were so helpful, and breakfast was amazing. We had a lovely Christmas stay in a great room with a seaview and a big bed. It's only a short walk to town and everything Cromer has to offer. Thanks for a wonderful visit, and for the special treats for Dexter the dog. Sam and Adie
Saff was lovely, and breakfast was excellent each morning. We spent three nights at the Sandcriff at the end of November, in a clean, comfortable room with its own bathroom. It's nicely placed for a bit of peace away from the town centre, while still being an easy stroll into town. We'll definitely stay at the Sandcliff again.
Really impressed by the standard here. The rooms were spotless and very good, and breakfast costs extra but is worth paying for. Superb place to stay, highly recommended. Well done, everyone.
