Croyde Ocean Villa 4 Bedrooms

The big garden leads to a second area called the orchard, with a gate opening straight onto lovely countryside walks. The house is large and close to Croyde centre, with bars, shops and food nearby. It has what you need for three couples and two or three kids to sleep comfortably, with bunk beds in a separate room and a single bed in a room that also has a double. Being able to use wetsuits, body boards and garden and beach games was brilliant and made packing much easier. I’d recommend it for a large group or family, as the house and surrounding area are lovely. Dogs were the main reason we booked, and our one gripe was that there were a few more rules than we expected: they can’t go upstairs or on the furniture, and must stay on a lead in the garden. Those rules wouldn’t necessarily be deal breakers, but unless we missed them in the information, we didn’t know about them until we arrived. That made things a bit more complicated, especially since we’d brought blankets for the sofas and a crate for the bedroom. If you’re bringing dogs, check that you’re happy with the arrangement first. Otherwise, it’s a lovely spot.
