Innisfail

The Moray Firth and Moray Coast Trail are close by, with great routes for walking, biking or running. Esther and Paul also gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions for the area. At Innisfail, the rooms are clean and modern, and breakfast was superb, especially the porridge and perfectly cooked Scottish breakfast. Esther and Paul are lovely hosts. Paul knows the area well and is a kind, friendly host. He also makes a great breakfast. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, and the place is beautiful. It's a relaxing seaside location with lovely views.

We could walk to Burghead in about 15 minutes for lunch at the local restaurant, and the nearby play park was a big hit with our children. After a day exploring, we all enjoyed the Jacuzzi bath. The house has stunning views, and getting to the beach within minutes of stepping outside was a lovely break from city life. Our bedroom and bathroom were much larger than the photos made them look. The décor felt calming, especially the beautiful bathroom wallpaper, and there were thoughtful touches like tea and coffee in the room, lovely smelling hand-soap, and a very comfortable bed. We had a supremely relaxing weekend at Innisfail B&B. Thanks to Paul for creating this slice of escapism. We'll be back!

We only stayed one night, which sadly wasn't long enough. I've stayed in many top end hotels, and this place puts most of them to shame. The room was beautiful and large, with a big ensuite and a really comfy bed. Paul was a friendly, great host. I'd definitely recommend this B&B to anyone. G
