Breakfast was excellent, with cereals, porridge, fruit, juices, toast and cooked options. I tried the scrambled egg with smoked salmon and the Scottish breakfast, and both were superb. It’s a lovely, comfortable stay and I’d recommend it. This is an old-fashioned B&B, not modern, but you won’t want for anything. There’s a good range of drinks and a few snacks in the room, along with a kettle and even a small fridge.

The B&B is spacious and beautiful, and the beds are super comfy. It smells lovely in there too. I’ve only been here one night so far and already think it’s brilliant. I’m staying three more and can’t wait!

The breakfast was fresh, beautifully cooked and good quality. This conveniently placed B&B overlooks the Solway Firth, and the lovely coastal walk from Rockcliffe to Sandyhills is only minutes away. Shirley and Andrew deserve full marks. My double room and en suite were warm, clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The mini fridge kept the fresh milk and water cool, and there was a good choice of hot drink sachets and biscuits.

The accommodation was excellent and very clean, and they welcome our four-legged friends too. Breakfast has a huge range of choices, including options for vegetarians, vegans and people with special dietary requirements. The location is beautiful, with all sorts of pastimes available nearby. I highly recommend visiting when you’re in the area. They’re open all year, including bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.

We’ve been coming to this B&B for years and are never disappointed. It’s a few miles from the Solway Firth, with its beautiful views. Shirley and Andrew always make us feel welcome, and the breakfasts are first class.
