The setting is gorgeous, with plenty of places to visit nearby. We spent a week here over Christmas, and the cottage had everything we needed. It was clean, and the log burner, hot tub and internet were lovely extras. John and Mary were warm and welcoming, and around whenever we needed anything. I really didn't want to leave, and hope to come back soon 😁

The farm tour was a real hit with our children, and the food was delicious. Mary and John made us feel so welcome during our two-night stay. Our room was just right, with comfortable beds and a kettle for making drinks. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for more. Thanks so much, Mary and John. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Just to be clear, this isn't a hotel. It's clean and tidy, has what you need for a stay, and there's a hot tub and wood burner, which I always enjoy.

The quiet surroundings and lovely views made this a great stop for my family while we were doing the Coast to Coast route. Mary and John were so welcoming, and we really valued their hospitality. The food was wholesome too. Highly recommended.

Mary was always available and so accommodating, and the kitchen had great facilities for self-catering. My partner and I stayed at Lovesome Hill Cottage and had a lovely time. The cottage itself was beautiful, and the hot tub was a great extra. It's also in an excellent spot for visiting places and finding things to see and do. We'd definitely stay again, and we're very grateful to Mary for her hospitality.
