The Old Vicarage

The hosts were very friendly, and they even offered an evening meal made to order. My room had a small kitchen area for preparing food, and there are several nearby pubs serving food too. There's no TV in the rooms, though that didn't really bother me. The Old Vicarage is conveniently located, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, nicely cooked, and very tasty. I'd definitely stay here again.

The garden is lovely to explore, and I'd love to come back for a longer visit. We had a very comfortable, spacious room with a large private bathroom. There's also a well-stocked kitchen shared with another room. The bed was really comfortable, and the owners gave us a wonderful welcome. They were so friendly and helpful.

The location and setting were perfect, and everything felt quiet and relaxed. Patricia made check-in easy and looked after my bridal party and me so well the night before my wedding. She arranged for breakfast to be brought to my room on the wedding morning, welcomed our hair and makeup artists and other guests dropping in and out, and provided prosecco glasses for our celebrations. It was just the right place to unwind and get ready. I'm very grateful to Patricia for being so accommodating. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked two nights for November, when we had a family function. We went to the function and had another great stay. Patricia and Jerry are fantastic hosts. Very much recommended. Mention Friends of FLORE for the discount. The location is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and downright lovely. Our hosts greeted us as we drove up the driveway, then we walked a short way from the main house to the Stables. The accommodation was nicely laid out, clean, tidy, and smelled fresh. The Stables have a shared working kitchen if you need one. Breakfast was lovely and recommended. We chose the full English, with juice, tea, and coffee served as well. Be warned, traditionally there are no TVs, so you'll have to make do with your own company, a book, or talking to your other half, hahaha.
